If you need a home visit because of illness or disability PLEASE TELEPHONE THE SURGERY BEFORE 10.00AM.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone us as soon as possible so that we may offer the appointment slot to another patient.

Whooping cough cases increase

Cases of whooping cough (pertussis) reported to the Health Protection Agency (HPA) in England and Wales have more than doubled from 421 cases in 2010 to 1040 in 2011. Increases in levels of whooping cough are seen every three to four years and figures in 2011 are in line with cases reported in the last peak year of 2008.

All Doctors Consultations are by appointment. You are now able to ring on the day of your choice for both urgent and non urgent appointments (Monday to Friday) and be given an appointment on that day. Please contact the Receptionist from 8.00am. Pre-bookable appointments are available Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 10.30 am.

If you have a small query that may not warrant an appointment, please let the Receptionist know, so that you may be able to speak to the Doctor/Nurse on the telephone.
